E60 530I cranks but wont start. I recently replaced the starter on my 2005 E60 530I, after reassembling the manifold and getting everything back in order I attempted to start the car the starter is now trying to crank but the car still wont not turn over and start. Once you get over 14.5v (at the battery) you run the risk of boiling off electrolyte, which cannot be replenished in a AGM battery. That is why the car needs to know that it has an AGM so it doesn't overcharge the AGM. When the VR does go, you can see 16-20v which will fry the AGM and alot of other components.
These codes point to problems in the DME like memory errors, processor faults, and calibration issues. Any DME-related codes should be investigated ASAP. 2. Engine Stalling or Dying Out.
